OJAS is the creative moniker of Devon Turnbull, who began using the name while studying Audio Engineering—spanning graffiti, music, graphic and clothing design. In 2003, he co-founded the clothing brand Nom de Guerre with Isa Saalabi, Wil Whitney, and Holly Harnsongkram.

While working in fashion, Turnbull continued creating OJAS sound sculptures—handcrafted audio systems admired by enthusiasts worldwide. Focused on high-efficiency speakers and low-powered tube amplifiers, OJAS pursues natural, lifelike sound through decades of experimentation, engineering, and exploration in the audio underground.

To Hi-Fi circles all over the world, the name MØRCH was known for their turntable manufacturing in the sixties and seventies. This experience over the years led to experimenting with all types of tonearms in order to gain greater insight into the turntable/tonearm interface.
While observing correct design fundamentals, crucial parameters such as choice of materials, a new approach to mass distribution, and elimination of arm resonances required in-depth study for the design of an exceptional tonearm.
